ATEX Approval Expected by May
The many safety benefits of using Eflares is constantly improving. We are now expecting ATEX approval to be through by May 2010 identified as ATEX Accreditation Level - Directive 94/9/EC based on compliance with the IEC 60079.11 level “ic”
This highly respected European standard is recognized globally and should apply to all Eflares in our range.
Effectively, it is a higher level of HazMat approval than we currently have which means Eflares will be accredited as “Intrinsically Safe” for further extensive use with examples being with Fire Departments, industrial applications with hazardous materials and transport for fuel spills.
